Hidden amongst a canopy of lush, sub-tropical gardens, Byron Retreat is your own private hideaway. With a distinctly eclectic style, from the imposing stone chimney which soars up two levels through the roof, to the Balinese-style pavilion and hanging chair by the heated pool, you will be relaxing in true resort style.

Inside, the spacious entrance atrium connects the circular living and sleeping areas, which feature gorgeous garden views. And the main bathroom offers a relaxing rain shower or bath under the stars.

The spacious, open layout features a fully equipped kitchen, allowing you to enjoy your own meals either in the dining room, or outdoors in the Mexican-inspired barbecue and entertaining terrace.  During the day, relax by the pool, even in the cooler months, as the pool is heated to 28 degrees. At night snuggle up on the lounge in front of the central stone fireplace and watch Netflix or go old school and watch a movie from the collection of hundreds of new release and classic titles. And if you want to read instead, choose a book from the extensive library.

The house can sleep up to six adults in three bedrooms, two with King Size beds and one with a Queen. Two additional single beds for children can also be made up on request. The bedrooms are equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning and electric blankets. One of the bedrooms has its own ensuite and the other two bedrooms share use of the main bathroom. 

Children will think it's paradise, with a 12 metre heated pool, cubby house, Springfree trampoline, outdoor table tennis table plus plenty of space to run around, play hide and seek, kick a soccer ball or have a game of backyard cricket. Indoors, a dedicated toy cupboard and rumpus room, movie library and games provide hours of amusement. A cot, high chair and Bumbo baby seat are also available at no extra charge.

Guests have access to all areas of the house for exclusive use. The property is in the town of Ewingsdale, sheltered from the busy hub of Byron Bay, yet within a short drive of the town and beaches. It's close to The Farm and local restaurants and cafes, shops, farmers and regional markets, and the creative hub of the Arts & Industry Park.  A car is highly recommended for your stay. A limited taxi and bus service is available in the area, and Uber is also available.
